Hi there!

I am Guokai Chen (陈国凯), a first-year PhD student at EPFL. I will share my life and interesting findings in this blog.

What I am working on

My interest lies in computer architecture and hardware security. Currently, I am working on accelerating hardware security researches, whose early stage result will be presented on YArch'25.

What I did

I was in XiangShan’s team from 2020 to 2024, when I was chasing for my master’s degree. I designed the indirect branch predictor, low latency FTB and some cool infrastratures for XiangShan.

With a passion on open source projects, I have also engaged in Open Source Promotion Plan since 2020, where I helped with several risc-v kernel related projects.
